When enterprises struggle to meet the challenges in the technology sector, more often than not, IT Principals outsource critical components to quality VARs and MSPs. With the rate at which the IT marketplace is evolving, the hurdles to success increase, and businesses require the help of an outside source that understands these issues and can put solutions in place immediately.

According to a recent study by Gartner, the worldwide IT outsourcing (ITO) marketplace will pass $288 billion in 2013. That is an increase of 2.8 percent from 2012. This growth will impact nearly every area of the IT channel.

"We continue to see overall market growth being constrained by near-term market factors, such as evolving ITO delivery models, economic, political and labor conditions, and service provider financial performance," Bryan Britz, the research vice president at Gartner, said in the report.

The study goes on to make some predictions about the market over the next few years. The upward trends that have been experienced so far will continue, with a focus on custom application outsourcing and infrastructure utility services leading the way. Britz said that planned adoption remains positive, but budget constraints, delivery model and economic conditions continue to contribute heavily on these rates.

Many businesses have realized the importance of using a top-quality VAR or MSP to meet IT challenges. With more companies looking to outsource tech processes, competition is fierce. Solution providers that have partnered with VAR Staffing can rise to the top and become the go-to resource.
