Dell Revenues Plummet With PC Decline

For its third fiscal quarter, PC manufacturer Dell reported sinking earnings that included a 47 percent decline in net income compounded by an 11 percent drop in sales revenues, and spurred by the continual fall of its PC divisions. While grim, the numbers also reflect a company in the process of reinventing itself, and placing key investments in enterprise software solutions that it hopes will be crucial in its transformation.
