Geek Squad Poll: Family, Friends Maintain Tech Support for Over 50 Crowd
If you’re tired of your parents hounding you for tech advice, you’re likely not alone. According to a recent Geek Squad poll of AARP members, more than half of the nearly 700 respondents say they turn to a family member or friend first when they need tech help. Geek Squad ranked second-most preferred at nearly 17 percent, with hardware manufacturers and local tech providers ranking third- and fourth-most preferred, respectively.
