Research_and_MarketsToday, Research and Markets, a global research organization, announced a new study to their wide range of offerings. The company will provide results on the impact of social media in the SMB space from the SMB Group. The most current report results, from June 2012, show a marked rise in the use of social media for SMBs.

The 2012 Impact of Social Business in Small and Medium Business Study showed that 53% of small businesses and 63% of medium businesses are using social media, which is a 9% increase for both sections. In addition, 35% of SMBs have replaced traditional marketing tools, such as e-mail campaigns and magazine/newsletter advertising with social media campaigns.
