The majority of organizations know that they have a strict requirement to meet when it comes to meeting state and federal compliance guidelines. However, reassuring consumers and enterprise partners also needs to take precedence when promoting cloud storage in the workplace.

Taking stock of digital cloud storage is helping more firms gain flexibility and collaborative power, and as a greater number of entities take advantage of these assets, confidence continues to grow in the corporate environment. As BSM Info wrote, a comScore study showed more than 90 percent of organizations already have a good impression of cloud assets. At the same time, about 60 percent of companies said that security is a major factor when considering the move to cloud. Whether it’s ownership issues, continuity concerns or overall responsiveness of business systems, protecting against a data breach is a big fear for many corporations.

Boosting cloud monitoring can help reduce the chance of a leak or safety issue, as Bank Info Security stated. Financial firms are among those with the greatest need for personal and business protections in cloud storage, as these entities have some of the most sensitive and valuable files in their possession, making them ideal targets for hackers.
