Apple Heading for a Dell-Like Channel Epiphany

Apple had a monster holiday season, generating record revenues and selling tens of millions of iPhones and iPads. But the company Steve Jobs built is showing signs of innovation and market fatigue, as evidenced by the forthcoming expanded-memory iPad. Chances are Apple will come to the same point in the crossroads as Dell and be forced to engage with the channel.
